The AltoStar® Connect Software makes the difference
The core element: AltoStar® Connect is the time-saving, intelligent and intuitive software behind the AM16 instrument and is designed to automate the AltoStar® Molecular Diagnostic Workflow. It seamlessly imports work orders from the LIS for the loaded samples, intelligently schedules and executes sample extraction and PCR setup, and automatically programs the thermal cycler.

Delivery | AltoStar® Connect Software 2.0 comes preinstalled on a computer provided by altona Diagnostics GmbH. A server is also needed for AM16 and Connect 2.0 operations, it can be hosted on an existing server (virtualized) or provided by altona Diagnostics as a dedicated PC server.
