The new RealStar® AHFV / KFDV RT-PCR Kit 1.0 is a reagent system, based on real-time PCR technology, for the detection and differentiation of Alkhurma hemorrhagic fever virus (AHFV) and Kyasanur forest disease virus (KFDV) specific RNA.

It is developed for parallel testing with, but not exclusively, the RealStar® Dengue RT-PCR Kit 3.0, RealStar® Rift Valley Fever Virus RT-PCR Kit 1.0 and RealStar® Yellow Fever Virus RT-PCR Kit 1.0.
