Now available: RealStar^® SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR Kit 1.0

altona Diagnostics GmbH, today announced the launch of the RealStar^® SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR Kit 1.0. The assay is based on real-time RT-PCR technology, for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 (previously 2019-nCoV) which is the causative agent of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Designed as a dual target assay the ready-to-use kit allows rapid screening of all lineage B-betacoronaviruses and confirms the presence of SARS-CoV-2 specific RNA in only one reaction. The test system is available immediately.
