RealStar^® kits registered in Argentina

Buenos Aires, January 31, 2019. altona Diagnostics Argentina S.R.L, on behalf of the altona headquaters in Hamburg, announced the registration of a range of RealStar^® in vitro diagnostic tests, based on real-time PCR technology for Argentina by ANMAT (Administración Nacional de Medicamentos, Alimentos y Tecnología Médica, Argentina).

The registered test kits are part of the respiratory panel of altona Diagnostics and intended for the diagnosis of respiratory syncytial virus, human Influenza virus, parainfluenza virus, metapneumovirus, adenovirus as well as the bacterias Bordetella and Pneumocystis jirovecii. In addition tests for the diagnostic of tropical diseases like malaria, chikungunya virus, dengue virus, yellow fever virus and Zika virus have been approved.
