Persons with congenital or acquired immunodeficiency cannot respond properly to an infection due to an impaired or weakened immune system. The RealStar® and the AltoStar® Immunocompromised PCR Panels facilitate the monitoring of viruses and other pathogens.
The harmonized design of the RealStar® kits allows the simultaneous detection and quantification of multiple viruses and pathogens in a single run. Due to the composition of the RealStar® Immunocompromised PCR Panel a flexible combination of the assays depending on the specific needs of the individual patient is possible.

AltoStar® kits are aimed for automated testing of different specimen types with the AltoStar® Molecular Diagnostic Workflow. The AltoStar® workflow enables the parallel processing of various sample types using one single purification chemistry, as well as the simultaneous detection and quantification of multiple relevant viruses in one single run. A complete panel of relevant viral infections can be diagnosed and individual adaptation of diagnostics by flexible assay combinatorics is possible.
