RealStar^® Lassa Virus RT-PCR Kit 2.0 (Ref: 642013) for the detection of Lassa virus specific RNA.

Special about this kit is the dual target detection system, which allows reliable diagnostics of the highly diverged genome of LASV. Targets are the GPC gene (glycoprotein precursor), which encodes for the viral surface glycoproteins and the L gene, which encodes for the RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp).

Due to the dual target system, this kit allows two times 48 reactions instead of 96 reactions.

The pipetting scheme and the temperature profile remain as for the RealStar^® Lassa virus RT-PCR Kit 1.0.
