First altona Health Day a great success

Organized by our HR team and using resources from BARMER, it was possible to get different medical health checks. Four different spots were offered: body check, lung function test, osteopath, and ferritin measurement. The insightful results will potentially inspire some colleagues to optimize their nutrition and to intensify their sporting activities. In this respect it came in handy that some internal altona sport groups also introduced themselves on this day: the altona running group and the stretching group “Active Break”, which both take place during lunch time, have free spots available.

Moreover, BARMER made sure that everybody could get freshly made smoothies. Interesting lectures about healthy sleep and stress reduction rounded of the health part of the day.

Additionally, all participants had the chance to take part in a guided tour of our spacious logistics hall and catch a glimpse of the current altona production construction site. Our Operations team is planning to have the premises up and running in 2024.

On top of that, altona employees from different departments had the opportunity to say hello to all colleagues they don’t see on a regular basis.
