RealStar® HSV PCR Kit 1.0

 

The RealStar® HSV PCR Kit 1.0 is an in vitro diagnostic test, based on real-time PCR technology, for the simultaneous detection and quantification of herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV-1) and herpes simplex virus 2 (HSV-2) specific DNA.

  • The RealStar® HSV PCR Kit 1.0 consists of two master reagents (Master A and Master B), Internal Control (IC), two sets of Quantification Standards, PCR grade water. 

Products not licensed with Health Canada and not FDA cleared or approved. Kits not available in all countries.

Dilution series of HSV-1 specific DNA, ranging from 101 to 108 copies/µl and HSV-2 specific DNA, ranging from 101 to 107 copies/µl, detected [A] in the FAM™ detection channel and [B] in the Cy5 detection channel, respectively. The Internal Control is detected in the JOE™ detection channel [C].
