Meet the altona team: Ingunn Fredriksen – our Sales Manager for the Nordic region

As diagnostics needs vary from country to country, having local expertise is essential to altona Diagnostics. That’s why our sales team includes regional specialists who understand the local market. We’re pleased to introduce Ingunn Fredriksen, who joined our team in June 2025 as Sales Manager for the Nordic region.

With decades of professional experience in molecular diagnostics and infectious diseases, Ingunn brings deep market knowledge and a strong customer focus to her role. Since the 1990s, she has been active in the Norwegian and Nordic diagnostics market, working closely with clinical laboratories and healthcare professionals. Her expertise spans areas such as molecular diagnostics, microbiology, clinical diagnostics, and biotechnology.

At altona, Ingunn is responsible for supporting our existing customer base in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland, while also building new partnerships in the region. She prepares and attends local exhibitions and congresses and keeps close contact with lab and industry professionals. Based in Norway, she works closely with our headquarters team in Hamburg.
