WirtschaftsWoche, one of Germany’s leading business magazines (published by Handelsblatt Media Group), in collaboration with Munich Strategy, has released its 2024 list of the Top 100 most innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Germany. This ranking is the result of an in-depth study that evaluated over 4,000 German SMEs, focusing on factors such as innovation vitality, public perception of innovation, and strength in research, development, and technology.
Innovative companies from Hamburg, including altona Diagnostics, stood out not only for their strong economic performance but also for their exceptionally dynamic portfolio strategies. As a leader in the medical diagnostics field specializing in the development and production of in vitro diagnostics tests for PCR-based pathogen detection, altona has ranked 20th on this esteemed list. We were acknowledged for our deep production capabilities, automated manufacturing processes, and fully automated device platform for laboratory customers. Our performance was determined based on sales growth data, earnings ratio and EBIT growth over the last four years.
